It is no secret, when people come to town, us locals tend to be the tour guides of the city. This day was no different. We had three families in town with no less than six children under the age of six. We did not know what to expect when we embarked on this adventure; but, from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with many surprises: first being a FIFTY foot tall Preying mantis keeping watch over the front gate. Imagine the kids excitement. Now for those of you with children in this age group, especially if they are half as wild as my two boys seem to be at times, you can sometimes fear an environment like this. NO WORRIES I SAY! We loved the guarded, one way in, and one way out children’s play ground. I sort of got lost, to the world, playing in there with the kidos, an easy thing to do. They had a great time too. Along with all the food and beverages there are also several shops to visit. I especially enjoyed the Disney art store. Check them out when you go there. See lists below of current vendors at the Las Vegas Downtown Container Park. Overall I though it was a great experience. You can dine down below or on top of the containers to get that good old fashioned Roof Top dining and drinking experience! Be sure to check out the entertainment schedule on their website. EVENT SCHEDULE. While we were there an Island Reggie group from Hawaii called HaleAmanO were playing. They were great!
